While I had the GL1800 in the shop for service, I had them install this luggage rack for me.
I decided to throw them the installation work to support the dealer and because if they screwed it up, they would fix it as well.

I picked up the rack on sale from Wingstuff.com a while back and it’s been sitting on the bench in the to-do pile.
I also purchased the Risers to raise the rack nicely above the spoiler.
Now I have more options for strapping on luggage & bags when I travel, not that it ever kept me from doing so!

Now that you've had the rack installed for a few weeks what do you think of it... and how much weight would you be comfortable putting on it?
I like the looks of the rack and have strapped on a small soft cooler but thats it so far.
