Riding in the Great Smoky Mountains - Part Deux

This morning I stepped outside to find Sunshine, a nice departure from Friday's all day down-poor.

James arrived late Friday afternoon in the rain from North Alabama, so this morning we headed out, along with our friend Steve for the Devil's Triangle, located West North-West of Knoxville Tennessee.

We had the roads all to ourselves for most of the day, and we took full advantage of the perfect conditions to twist the throttles a bit.

Here are 25 photos from a set of over 100 I took today while riding, I hope you enjoy the colors as much as we did.

We came back across the Cherohala Skyway, where we enjoyed a nice soup at 36 degrees f., and rode out of it around the 3000 ft level while coming down towards Robbinsville North Carolina.

Hi everyone, sorry It took me so long to get to this.

These photos were taken using a Casio Exilim point & shoot digital at 10.1mp.

I keep the camera in a tank or handlebar bag. To take a photo I:
Grab the camera with my left hand, press the power button,
point the camera and hit the shutter,
hit the power button to shut it off and place it back in the bag.

I've done it thousands of times.
