Back in FlatLand - A Great Ride Home

I rolled out of the Iron Horse Motorcycle Lodge Sunday morning with James and we headed West up 28 and through Deal's Gap to 72 and on to 411 and then 30 for the dash to I75 South.

I stayed on I75 South through Chattanooga then on through Atlanta to points South. Traffic was heavy everywhere on I75 through Georgia and it continued South though FlatLand.

A lot of the traffic was Snow Birds heading South to Winter in Florida before heading back to Canada next spring. Every other vehicle was a truck pulling a camper or a Full Size Motor home pulling a trailer or a compact car.

Along with all the extra traffic came State Troopers to muck up the flow with their speed traps.

There was a bad wreck on I75 South about 10 miles before my exit, where we all sat, stopped on I75 while all southbound traffic was stopped for a Med-Flight Helicopter. After about 45 minutes we again started to creep south. A cager in a brown sedan made an abrupt right turn off the road and out through the trees.

I made it to the Casa about 10:00pm and crashed after a long settling down period.

I had a Great Trip that covered just over 2000 miles and the friends that all met up at the Iron Horse Lodge were great to see again, not to mention the major tire-kicking we enjoyed every evening.

Alas, It's good to be home!

WOW Sounds like a very tiresome trip but glad to hear that you made it safely. Symptom of panic attacks
