Did you ever think the Title of this piece would be the actual truth of the situation?
While I knew it to be, and have always called it Terrorism, the General Public with their numbed down senses just never connected the phrases "Christian Fundamentalist" and "Terrorism" when referring to the Murders and Bombings committed by these home-grown Religious Zealot Terrorist.
Sunday George Tiller, a Wichita doctor, was killed INSIDE the lobby of his Wichita church. Reformation Lutheran Church became a crime scene; brought to you by fundamentalist terrorism.
Jim D. Adkisson walked into the Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church loaded for bear. He killed 2 people and was only charged with murder. His motives were "he hated the liberal movement" and was upset with "liberals in general as well as gays." He should have been charged with terrorism as well.
A security guard was killed and a nurse was severely injured the morning of January 29, 1998, when a bomb exploded at a Birmingham women's clinic. It was believed to be the first fatal clinic bombing in U.S. history.
A defiant and unrepentant Eric Rudolph said that abortion is murder that needs to be fought with "deadly force" before a federal judge sentenced him to life in prison. Again, this was an act of Domestic Terrorism by a Christian Fundamentalist.
Don't act too surprised at these events; the Christian Church has been murdering in the name of God for many centuries, with no end in sight.
Kind of makes you wonder who is next?
