Celebrations are in the air, not only for being named the Marquee bike of AMA's Vintage Motorcycle Days, but Triumph is also celebrating a model's 50th anniversary by unveiling a limited edition Bonneville this weekend.
The AMA event is considered the biggest celebration of vintage motorcycles on the continent, featuring North America's largest motorcycle swap meet, vintage racing, demo rides, to auctions and bike shows AMA's Vintage Motorcycle Days takes place July 25-27 on the park-like grounds of Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio.

This year, VMD honors one of the most popular and enduring brands in motorcycling by naming Triumph as Marque of the Year. Triumph will reveal the limited edition model, based on the standard Bonneville T100, the 50th Anniversary pays homage to its 1959 namesake with a unique paint scheme.
Just as the "Tangerine Dream" livery of 1959 created a stir in the motorcycle universe, the 2009 colors Meriden Blue and Exotic Orange will make their mark on history again. Only 650 Bonneville T100 50th Anniversary edition bikes will be produced, a testament to the engine capacity of the original Bonneville. Each unit will be individually numbered and identified with a commemorative brass badge on the handlebar clamp.

Wow, thats too exciting. I would like to have one for my self but it seems very costly. Taking a ride on it would be very gorgeous. By next year I would prefer to have it and make myself comfortable.
Nice looking motorcycles.Thanks
