My New Caberg Justissimo Helmet

I picked up a new helmet Thursday afternoon at Euro Cycles of Tampa Bay.

I picked up a new Caberg Justissimo, a high end Italian Design that has all the best features in a Sports Touring Helmet.  One being 50% Off!

The Caberg comes with a soft bag that keeps the helmet clean while in storage.  Probably the last time it will be on this helmet.

The Black Lever controls the Integrated Visor independently of the Chin Bar and Shield.

With the Washable Cool-Max Lining Removed to facilitate the installation of the J&M Stereo Headset.

This image shows the "Cut Out" placement for Speakers, (they recommend not to install speakers) though I had to remove some of the Styrofoam material to properly seat the speakers directly over my ears.

Being ever Conspicuous; I added two highly reflective Dragon Stickers.

I'll be adding additional reflective tape to the helmet later; once I decide on a design.

The Helmet on the Seat, under Flash.

Diamond Grade Reflective Tapes really improve your conspicuity in the dark.

As you can see, I believe in it.

My Riding Jackets, Gloves and Tank Bag also have Highly Reflective Piping, Stitching and Panels.

The test ride with headset installed went perfectly and the J&M headsets audio fidelity is excellent.  The headset sounds so much better in this Caberg Helmet than in the HJC Symax.

The speakers could not be placed directly beside the ears in the Symax, as that's where the strap anchors to the shell of the helmet; resulting a significant reduction in sound quality to the ears.

I'm looking forward to the commute in the morning for the full on test ride.

Dave,

Hows your new helmet working out? I am curious about the wind noise... my daily lid is in need of replacement, but I have yet to find a suitably quiet specimen...
