A Saturday night ride in FlatLand

Great weather and the desire to ride double teamed me last evening and I succumb to their charms.

I headed south on US19 all the way to St. Pete and Biff-Burger.

There was a nice crowd of a couple of hundred bikes of which 12 where BMW.
I took these shot from the west side of 49th street.

In front of an Amsoil Dealer's tent was parked this fully restored 57 Cushman.

Tasty little scooter.

This 1000cc BMW was track ready.

After leaving Biff-Burger I headed over to I275 to cross the bay to Tampa and then on to I4 and eventually Ybor City.

I-275 in Largo.

I-275 on the "Hump"

Facing Tampa

Ybor City was alive and well with club goers and site seeing visitors.

Ybor (Pronounced E-Bore) City is now the club district of Tampa.

This place will still be going when the sun comes up.

There were a lot of bikes parked here and there along 7th ave.

Yup, that's me looking tired in this light.
Actually having a nice time.

After cruising 7th I rode through Tampa and back to I-275, then The Veteran's Expressway to the SunCoast Parkway to SR54 to US19 to the Casa.

This was a great night for a ride and and a healthy dose of psycho-therapy that riding provides me.
